I had been enjoying the warmer mornings, but back to 5 degrees this morning and out came the full fingered gloves and long sleeves, even my beanie (but it got too hot and I took it off along the way).
It's amazing how much earlier the sun is rising in just a couple of days. I suppose with all the rain and fog this week I just haven't noticed it as gradually, but with clear skies today it was obvious.
The ride was great. I saw more cyclists than I ever have, particularly between home and Barton Hwy and nearly all going away from the city. Is there something I don't know about? It was just a lovely morning to be out on my bike.
I must admit, however, that I am very much looking forward to the weekend.
