After last week donning all the wet weather gear and then it dried up and didn't rain. today I left with it dry and it started raining just near my point of no return. I decided to continue and got a little damp with the thin pink raincoat, but nothing too bad. I was warm too which always helps.
It was a pleasant ride cycling in the rain. Very dark, but my wonderful ay-ups help me through.
Today's excitement though was all at Parliament House. Today Gillard and Rudd will face off for leadership of the Labor Party. Every tv crew in the country was sitting at APH. I did get a glimpse of Mel and Kochie. I would have loved to have gone closer and had a pic taken with them during the ad break, but makeup people were touching up Mel and I felt in the way.
