Another cold, foggy and frosty morning but great to be back on the bike after gale force winds all week.
Fingers started a little cold but warmed up, toes were great until I got off the bike at work. The rest of me was perfectly warm and toasty. It only got to -4 instead of the predicted -6.
I felt like I was in the Forbidden Forest near Hogwarts this morning with the lights our along LBG near the library. The bare overhead trees, the fog ... it was great to ride through.
The fog was very heavy at Gungahlin but by Northbourne Avenue it was fairly clear. Along the lake more fog, so thick you could barely make out the glow that is the Carillion. No sign of sunrise at all today.
Lovely to be riding again!
