After 10 days of holiday and recreational riding back to the normal commute this morning.
A lot of glass on the road today but a warm morning, 18 degrees. I had a lovely ride and enjoying the slightly later sunrise meaning no sun in my eyes until the lake.
A beautiful way to start the day. My only complaint this morning is that the cafe downstairs is closed, so I walked up the road to the next one, also closed, so headed for DFAT, open! Hooray! Problem is the Hot Chocolate was horrible. They used chocolate topping and no froth at all. Urgh. Perhaps I shall have to walk to Lachlans but that is 3 blocks away. But at least I know it tastes good.
